Synthesis and Radiolabeling of Rolapitant Gold Nanoparticles for Diagnosis of Neurokinin Receptors

Abstract

Rolapitant is a neurokinin-1 (NK-1)receptor blocker  could be prepared in a nonformula and radiolabeled with iodine-131 with a labeling yield over 90%. The labeled compound were evaluated using paper chromatography and optimum conditions were justified. Nano formula of rolapitant were adjusted with TEM and SEM. Radiolabeled nano rolapitant were injected in normal mice for estimation of organs of uptake. Uptake of Radiolabeled nano rolapitant showed greater uptake in sites reach in neurokinin-1 (NK-1). These result encourage the use of Radiolabeled nano rolapitant in imaging and evaluation of neurokinin-1 (NK-1 receptors
